Essie winter collection 2015 // Revue + Bandana nails

Bonjour !
Hello ! Today we meet around the new winter collection of Essie ! The program : dark, pastel, metallic but also the inevitable red of the end of the year, all this in an atmosphere of ski resort ^^.

As always the collection is made up of 6 varnishes :

Peak show - rose pastel crème.
Shall we chalet - rouge bordeaux/brique crème.

High tub - a black dotted with magenta/plum micro-glitter. The intention is good but I regret that the glitter does not show as much on the nail than in the bottle. When laid it is a beautiful black, like the brand knows how, but you really need to look closely for its particularity.
Après-chic - metallic silver micro glitter. Big blow of heart ! A beautiful and sparkling silver, with a fluid texture (more than the copper Leggy legend) and pleasant.
Virgin snow - purple pastel cream. Delightful little wintery pastel that will be perfect for all snowflakes manicures. It has a nice texture and is opaque in 2 coats. Once on the nail that is not a false white, it clearly appears purple.

Peek show - pastel pink cream. As Virgin snow it is opaque in two coats and applies well. I like this desire to introduce soft hues in the year-end collections, winter can not be reduced at Christmas and New Year and their sempiternal red and golds.
Altitude attitude - red raspberry cream. You said Christmas? ^^. That's still red. For the collector that I am is a little disappointing but I realize that Essie is a mainstream brand and the red varnishes must represent at least 30% of their sales ^^.
Shall we chalet - bordeaux red/brick cream. And 2 ^^. Well this one changes a little, a beautiful and not too dark burgundy, finally cool enough.

In brief, two micro-glitter quite pleasant, two soft pastels and two reds, inevitable in this season ^^.

To accompany this collection presentation I've made a simple nailart on a base of altitude attitude. I used a white Konad varnish and the bpl-024 plate to stamp a kind of bandana pattern because this red really reminds me that ^^. I added some small black dots around the patterns and a gold rectangular stud on the ring finger.
